ACTU COLLEGE FOOTBALL, TOP 25: LES RESULTATS DU WEEK 9

Une nouvelle semaine de College Football a offert son lot de surprises, de confirmations et de démonstrations éclatantes. Des Hoosiers d’Indiana aux Longhorns du Texas, plusieurs programmes ont consolidé leurs ambitions en cette fin d’octobre décisive.


#2 Indiana 56 – 6 UCLA

Les Hoosiers ont infligé une correction à UCLA grâce à un départ canon : 28 points en première mi-temps.F. Mendoza a lancé pour 168 yards et 3 TD, tandis que R. Hemby a ajouté 171 yards au sol et 2 touchdowns.E. J. Williams Jr. a complété la domination aérienne avec 109 yards et 2 réceptions de TD.


#3 Texas A&M 49 – 25 #20 LSU

Les Aggies restent invaincus (8-0) grâce à M. Reed (202 yards, 3 TD) et B. Thomas (128 yards, 2 TD).Malgré B. Brown (205 yards, 2 TD) et K. Hilton (80 yards de réception), LSU a été dépassé défensivement.


#4 Alabama 29 – 22 South Carolina

Les Crimson Tide ont évité la surprise grâce à T. Simpson (253 yards, 2 TD) et D. Hill (76 yards, 1 TD).L. Sellers a maintenu les Gamecocks dans le match (187 yards de passe, 1 TD), mais le finish a penché du côté ‘Bama.


#6 Oregon 21 – 7 Wisconsin

Malgré une attaque timide, les Ducks se sont appuyés sur J. Davison (102 yards, 2 TD au sol) et une défense étouffante.H. Simmons (281 yards, 1 INT) n’a jamais trouvé le rythme côté Badgers.


#7 Georgia Tech 41 – 16 Syracuse

H. King a brillé pour les Yellow Jackets (304 yards, 3 TD + 1 TD au sol).Syracuse n’a pu suivre le rythme offensif malgré D. Gill Jr. (79 yards, 1 TD).

#8 Ole Miss 34 – 26 #13 Oklahoma

Sous la pluie de Norman, T. Chambliss (315 yards, 1 TD) et X. Robinson (90 yards, 2 TD) ont guidé les Rebels vers une victoire majeure.I. Sategna (131 yards, 1 TD) a porté l’attaque des Sooners, en vain.



#9 Miami 42 – 7 Stanford

Domination totale des Hurricanes menés par C. Beck (189 yards, 1 TD) et M. Fletcher (106 yards, 3 TD au sol).Stanford a été limité à seulement 7 points et moins de 200 yards offensifs.

#10 Vanderbilt 17 – 10 #15 Missouri

Les Commodores ont remporté une bataille défensive grâce à D. Pavia (138 yards, 1 TD) et A. Hardy (97 yards, 1 TD au sol).M. Zollers a été contenu à 138 yards de passe, 1 TD et 2 interceptions.


#11 BYU 41 – 27 Iowa State

R. Becht (311 yards, 3 TD) a tenu Iowa State en vie, mais P. Kingston (133 yards, 2 TD) et la défense des Cougars ont fait la différence dans le money time.


#14 Texas Tech 42 – 0 Oklahoma State

Un festival offensif pour les Red Raiders : T. Howland (172 yards, 1 TD) et C. Douglas (98 yards, 1 TD réception).Oklahoma State a été complètement muet offensivement (172 yards totaux).


#16 Virginia 17 – 16 North Carolina (OT)

Les Cavaliers ont survécu en prolongation grâce à G. Lopez (308 yards, 1 TD) et J. Taylor (75 yards au sol).UNC a manqué un field goal crucial en prolongation malgré la solide prestation de J. Edrine (75 yards, 1 TD).


#17 Tennessee 56 – 34 Kentucky

J. Aguilar a découpé la défense des Wildcats (396 yards, 3 TD).S. Thomas et C. Brazelton ont ajouté 200 yards au sol et 138 yards dans les airs pour un festival offensif volontaire.

#18 South Florida 31 – 34 Memphis

Menés de 14 points au dernier quart, les Tigers ont retourné la situation grâce à B. Lewis (307 yards, 2 TD) et G. Desrosiers Jr. (13 yards au sol + TD).B. Brown (211 yards, 2 TD) a fait tout ce qu’il a pu pour USF, en vain.


#19 Louisville 38 – 24 Boston College

Les Cardinals ont contrôlé le match du début à la fin avec I. Brown (205 yards, 1 TD) et une défense opportune.G. James (246 yards, 3 TD) a tenu BC en vie jusqu’au quatrième quart.


#21 Cincinnati 41 – 20 Baylor

C. Allen (174 yards, 3 TD) a porté l’attaque des Bearcats tandis que la défense a forcé deux turnovers.Baylor a souffert offensivement malgré M. Turner (90 yards au sol).


#22 Texas 45 – 38 Mississippi State (OT)

B. Shapen (381 yards, 4 TD) a offert la victoire aux Longhorns dans un final haletant.R. Wingo (184 yards réception) a été le facteur X tandis que les Bulldogs ont craqué en prolongation.

#23 Illinois 25 – 42 Washington

D. Williams Jr. a encore brillé pour les Huskies (280 yards de passe, 4 TD + 66 yards au sol).L. Altmyer (199 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT) a été en difficulté face à une défense retrouvée.



#24 Arizona State 16 – 24 Houston

Les Cougars ont résisté au retour tardif des Sun Devils grâce à C. Weigman (211 yards, 2 TD) et une défense agressive (2 sacks, 1 INT).A. Leavitt a signé 270 yards et 1 TD mais a aussi perdu un ballon crucial.


#25 Michigan 31 – 20 Michigan State

J. Haynes a porté les Wolverines avec 152 yards et 2 TD au sol, tandis que J. Marshall a inscrit un autre touchdown.A. Chiles (130 yards, 2 INT) n’a pas réussi à relancer les Spartans.


Alors que la saison entre dans son sprint final, chaque victoire compte un peu plus. Prochain arrêt : novembre, où les rêves de Playoff se font et se défont.

Another week of College Football delivered its share of surprises, statements, and dominant performances. From Indiana’s fireworks to Texas’ resilience, several programs strengthened their Playoff push in a decisive late-October slate.


#2 Indiana 56 – 6 UCLA

The Hoosiers crushed UCLA thanks to a lightning-fast start, scoring 28 points in the first half. F. Mendoza threw for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns, while R. Hemby added 171 rushing yards and 2 scores. E. J. Williams Jr. rounded out the aerial attack with 109 yards and 2 touchdown catches.


#3 Texas A&M 49 – 25 #20 LSU

The Aggies remained undefeated (8–0) behind M. Reed (202 yards, 3 TD) and B. Thomas (128 yards, 2 TD). Despite solid efforts from B. Brown (205 yards, 2 TD) and K. Hilton (80 receiving yards), LSU’s defense was overwhelmed.


#4 Alabama 29 – 22 South Carolina

The Crimson Tide avoided an upset thanks to T. Simpson (253 yards, 2 TD) and D. Hill (76 yards, 1 TD). L. Sellers kept the Gamecocks competitive (187 passing yards, 1 TD), but Alabama closed it out strong.


#6 Oregon 21 – 7 Wisconsin

Despite a quiet offense, the Ducks leaned on J. Davison (102

yards, 2 rushing TD) and a stifling defense. H. Simmons (281 yards, 1 INT) never found his rhythm for the Badgers.


#7 Georgia Tech 41 – 16 Syracuse

H. King starred for the Yellow Jackets with 304 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, and another on the ground. Syracuse couldn’t keep pace offensively despite D. Gill Jr. (79 yards, 1 TD).


#8 Ole Miss 34 – 26 #13 Oklahoma

Under Norman’s rain, T. Chambliss (315 yards, 1 TD) and X. Robinson (90 yards, 2 TD) led the Rebels to a major win. I. Sategna (131 yards, 1 TD) paced the Sooners’ offense, but it wasn’t enough.


#9 Miami 42 – 7 Stanford

A complete domination from the Hurricanes, powered by C. Beck (189 yards, 1 TD) and M. Fletcher (106 rushing yards, 3 TD). Stanford was limited to just 7 points and under 200 total yards.


#10 Vanderbilt 17 – 10 #15 Missouri

The Commodores won a defensive battle thanks to D. Pavia (138 yards, 1 TD) and A. Hardy (97 rushing yards, 1 TD). M. Zollers was held to 138 yards, 1 TD, and 2 interceptions.


#11 BYU 41 – 27 Iowa State

R. Becht (311 yards, 3 TD) kept Iowa State alive, but P. Kingston (133 yards, 2 TD) and a clutch BYU defense sealed the game in the fourth quarter.


#14 Texas Tech 42 – 0 Oklahoma State

A dominant offensive showcase for the Red Raiders: T. Howland (172 yards, 1 TD) and C. Douglas (98 yards, 1 receiving TD). Oklahoma State was shut out, managing just 172 total yards.


#16 Virginia 17 – 16 North Carolina (OT)

The Cavaliers survived in overtime behind G. Lopez (308 yards, 1 TD) and J. Taylor (75 rushing yards). UNC missed a crucial field goal despite J. Edrine’s strong performance (75 yards, 1 TD).


#17 Tennessee 56 – 34 Kentucky

J. Aguilar torched the Wildcats for 396 yards and 3 touchdowns. S. Thomas and C. Brazelton added 200 rushing and 138 receiving yards as the Vols exploded offensively.


#18 South Florida 31 – 34 Memphis

Down by 14 in the fourth quarter, the Tigers rallied behind B. Lewis (307 yards, 2 TD) and G. Desrosiers Jr. (13 rushing yards, 1 TD). B. Brown (211 yards, 2 TD) gave USF hope, but Memphis completed the comeback.


#19 Louisville 38 – 24 Boston College

The Cardinals controlled the game from start to finish with I. Brown (205 yards, 1 TD) and a timely defense. G. James (246 yards, 3 TD) kept BC in it until late in the fourth.


#21 Cincinnati 41 – 20 Baylor

C. Allen (174 yards, 3 TD) led the Bearcats’ offense while the defense forced two turnovers. Baylor struggled to find rhythm despite M. Turner’s 90 rushing yards.


#22 Texas 45 – 38 Mississippi State (OT)

B. Shapen (381 yards, 4 TD) delivered the Longhorns a thrilling overtime win. R. Wingo (184 receiving yards) was the X-factor, while the Bulldogs faltered in extra time.


#23 Illinois 25 – 42 Washington

D. Williams Jr. once again shined for the Huskies (280 passing yards, 4 TD, plus 66 rushing). L. Altmyer (199 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT) struggled against a rejuvenated Washington defense.


#24 Arizona State 16 – 24 Houston

The Cougars held off a late Sun Devil push behind C. Weigman (211 yards, 2 TD) and an aggressive defense (2 sacks, 1 INT). A. Leavitt threw for 270 yards and 1 TD but lost a costly fumble.


#25 Michigan 31 – 20 Michigan State

J. Haynes carried the Wolverines with 152 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns, while J. Marshall added another score. A. Chiles (130 yards, 2 INT) couldn’t spark a Spartan comeback.


As the season heads into its final stretch, every win carries extra weight. Next stop: November, where Playoff dreams are made or broken.
