The collegiate chapter of Jonah Coleman has come to an end. The Washington senior running back officially announced his decision to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft, closing the book on a four-year NCAA career defined by consistency, physicality, and steady production.

Coleman began his college career at Arizona, spending two seasons with the Wildcats before transferring to Washington, where his role and impact expanded significantly. Across four collegiate seasons, he compiled 552 rushing attempts for 3,054 yards and 34 touchdowns, averaging 5.5 yards per carry. Those numbers reflect a running back who delivered reliable production regardless of system or conference.

His breakout at Washington came during the 2024 season. Coleman rushed for 1,053 yards and 10 touchdowns, becoming one of the few backs in program history to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in a single season. Beyond his work on the ground, he also showed value as a pass-catching option out of the backfield, adding balance to the Huskies’ offense.

In 2025, Coleman’s raw rushing totals dipped as he dealt with a lower-body injury that caused him to miss one game and play through limitations in others. Even so, he remained a central piece of Washington’s attack, finishing the season with 758 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, while contributing 31 receptions for 354 yards and two receiving touchdowns.

Over his full college career, he totaled 87 receptions for 838 yards and three touchdowns.

Coleman played a key role in Washington’s 9–4 2025 campaign, which concluded with a convincing 38–10 victory over Boise State in the LA Bowl. Compact and powerful, he established himself as a dependable option in both early-down and short-yardage situations.

As he prepares for the next stage of his football journey, Coleman leaves Washington with a complete statistical résumé and a track record of production at multiple levels of college football.
