BOCA RATON, Floride — Le Louisville Cardinals ont conclu leur saison sur une note victorieuse, mardi, en remportant le Boca Raton Bowl face aux Toledo Rockets, 27–22, au terme d’une rencontre longtemps maîtrisée mais devenue chaotique dans son dernier quart-temps.
Pour son dernier match universitaire, Miller Moss a livré une prestation solide et maîtrisée. Le quarterback des Cardinals a complété 16 de ses 24 passes pour 153 yards et deux touchdowns, trouvant notamment TreyShun Hurry et Antonio Meeks dans la zone d’en-but. Sans forcer le jeu, Moss a su exploiter les opportunités offertes par une défense de Toledo longtemps contenue.

BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Louisville Cardinals closed their season with a hard-fought 27–22 victory over the Toledo Rockets on Tuesday afternoon in the Boca Raton Bowl, surviving a chaotic fourth quarter that turned a comfortable lead into a tense finish.
Playing his final collegiate game, quarterback Miller Moss delivered a poised performance, completing 16 of 24 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns. Moss connected with TreyShun Hurry and Antonio Meeks for scores and efficiently guided an offense that built control early without forcing the action.
Louisville’s ground game proved decisive. Isaac Brown powered the Cardinals with two rushing touchdowns, including a pivotal 53-yard run late in the fourth quarter that swung momentum back in Louisville’s favor. Keyjuan Brown added balance and consistency, finishing with 112 rushing yards and helping the Cardinals manage the clock when it mattered most.
Louisville steadily separated itself through three quarters, taking a 14–3 lead into halftime and extending the margin to 21–3 early in the fourth. At that point, the Cardinals appeared firmly in command, but Toledo had other plans.
Making his first start of the season, Kalieb Osborne sparked a dramatic Rockets rally. Osborne threw for 167 yards and a touchdown as Toledo erupted for 19 points in the final quarter. The comeback included a fourth-down touchdown pass, a 50-yard field goal, a blocked extra point returned for two points, and a late rushing score by Chip Trayanum that cut the deficit to five with under three minutes remaining.
The closing minutes were marred by heightened emotions after a violent sideline collision involving Keyjuan Brown triggered a bench-clearing confrontation. Following a lengthy delay, Louisville regrouped and leaned on its running game to drain the remaining time off the clock.
With the win, Louisville finishes the season at 9–4, closing the year with back-to-back victories. Toledo, resilient to the end despite a slow start, wraps up its campaign at 8–5 after nearly completing one of bowl season’s most improbable comebacks.
In the end, Louisville’s early execution and late composure were just enough to withstand a furious Toledo charge in a Boca Raton Bowl that delivered drama until the final snap.
